Troop 751 is a boy-led troop with scouts from Garland, Plano and Richardson primarily, but all are welcome. We currently have about 15 members and a dedicated set of adults on the Troop Committee.

Troop History
Troop 751 was founded in 2002 with 11 boys, several of which have earned the rank of Eagle Scout.

Troop Achievements

  • Troop 751 named Honor Troop at Gorham Scout Ranch, Summer 2011
  • Troop 751 finished 2nd overall at Camporee 2011
  • Troop 751 Scouts won 1st place at Aquatics Night Camp Pioneer, summer 2010
  • Also won first place overall best troop at Camp Pioneer, summer 2010
  • Attends Circle 10's Winter camp at Camp Trevor Rees-Jones
  • Participates in Northern Trail District's Camporee, providing significant leadership from our ranks
  • Several of the scouts and adults hold leadership positions in the Arapaho Chapter of the Order of the Arrow
  • High percentage of the eligible scouts have attended Oak Leaf Leadership training.
  • Many scouts have attended National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT)
  • Several adult leaders have completed Wood Badge training.
  • We are involved in the annual Scouting for Food.
